1. Who we are
SPADELX operates spadelx.com, court booking, coaching, events, and a sports gear shop from Al Suwaiq, Oman. We are the "data controller" for the personal data described in this policy under Oman's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
2. What we collect
- Identity & contact: name, phone number, email address
- Booking details: date, time, court, session type, participants
- Payment metadata: processed by our payment provider (Thawani) — we never see or store your full card number
- Order details: purchases, delivery address (shipped via ASYAD) when the shop launches
- Messages: what you send us via forms, email, or WhatsApp
- Usage data: cookies and analytics (e.g. Google Analytics/Ads tags where enabled)
3. Why we use it (legal bases)
- To provide the service: process bookings, take payment, send confirmations and reminders
- Customer support: answer your questions and resolve issues
- Legal obligations: accounting and records required under Omani law
- Legitimate interests: improve the website, courts, and services
- Marketing — only with your consent: offers, league news, and shop drop alerts via email/SMS/WhatsApp. You can withdraw consent any time by telling us or using the unsubscribe/opt-out in the message.
4. Who we share it with
Only the processors needed to run the service: hosting provider, booking system, Thawani (payments), ASYAD (delivery), email/SMS tools, and analytics providers. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by Omani law or authorities.
5. How long we keep it
Only as long as needed for your bookings, legal and accounting obligations, and legitimate business records — then we delete or anonymize it.
6. Your rights
Under the PDPL you can ask us to: access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent for marketing. Contact us at [email protected] or +968 7718 7920 and we'll action your request. You also have the right to complain to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT), which supervises the PDPL.
7. Cookies
We use cookies for site functionality and (where enabled) analytics and advertising measurement. Where a cookie banner is shown, non-essential cookies are used only with your consent.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
9. Children
Junior sessions are booked by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect children's data directly without a guardian.
10. Updates
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date will change and material changes will be highlighted on the site.
