1. Who we are and what we provide
SPADELX ("we", "us") operates padel courts in Al Suwaiq, Oman, and provides court rentals, coaching, events and leagues, and the sale or rental of sports equipment through spadelx.com, WhatsApp, and on-site. Online bookings and payments are processed by third-party providers (booking system and Thawani payment gateway).
2. Bookings
- A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation and any required payment is completed.
- All prices are displayed in Omani Rial (OMR) inclusive of any applicable taxes, in line with Omani consumer protection requirements. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
- You must provide accurate contact details so we can send confirmations, reminders, and any access instructions.
- Court hire is charged per court per hour (currently 6 OMR/hour). Rental equipment may be charged separately.
3. Payments
Online payments are processed securely by Thawani. We do not store your full card details. If a payment fails, your slot is not held — please retry or contact us on WhatsApp. Electronic contracts and records are recognized under Oman's Electronic Transactions Law.
4. Cancellations, rescheduling & no-shows
- Reschedule free of charge up to 6 hours before your slot by messaging us on WhatsApp or via your booking confirmation.
- Cancellations inside 6 hours may be charged in full; no-shows forfeit the session fee.
- If we cancel (e.g. unsafe weather, maintenance), you get a full refund or a free reschedule — your choice.
5. Court rules
- Proper sports footwear required. No black-soled marking shoes.
- Your session ends on time so the next booking starts on time.
- No dangerous play, abuse toward players or staff, or damage to courts and equipment. Damage caused by misuse is chargeable.
- Juniors must be supervised as directed by SPADELX staff.
- Follow staff instructions on safety at all times.
6. Equipment & shop
Rental equipment remains SPADELX property and must be returned in the condition received. When the online shop launches, product sales will follow the checkout terms shown at purchase, including delivery via ASYAD and our stated returns policy in line with Omani consumer protection law (goods must match their description; defective goods may be returned).
7. Liability
Padel involves inherent risk of injury. You play voluntarily and are responsible for your own fitness and conduct. To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, SPADELX is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Omani law.
8. Conduct & refusal of service
We may refuse or end a session without refund where rules are broken or safety is at risk.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Omani courts, without prejudice to your rights under the Consumer Protection Law.
